Team Overview: This position is part of Nintendo of America (NOA)’s IT Risk & Security department, which encompasses compliance governance, risk management, security governance, and disaster recovery/business continuity governance. Our team is responsible for defining, developing, and overseeing Information Security at NOA while coordinating efforts with global security teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Cloud Platform team to define, implement, and enhance cloud security architecture and standards, ensuring the integration of secure-by-design patterns across cloud services and workloads.
- Provide security engineering expertise for cloud platform capabilities, including identity management, network segmentation, logging, monitoring, and workload protection to facilitate secure and scalable cloud adoption.
- Conduct risk assessments, manage vulnerabilities, perform penetration testing, and offer remediation recommendations for cloud-based technologies and applications.
- Work closely with engineering teams to proactively detect and remediate security flaws and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with analysts to identify the functional and technical requirements of the organization and propose suitable solutions.
- Evaluate available technologies to fulfill needs, define technical specifications, and design systems accordingly.
- Develop and adjust technology systems to meet functional, performance, security, quality, operations, and monitoring requirements.
- Deploy and maintain security controls, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulations.
