Required Qualifications:A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a desktop support or IT infrastructure role. Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft MECM (SCCM), including deployment and troubleshooting. Strong comprehension of Active Directory and Group Policy management. Experience with quality assurance testing and related processes. Proficiency in Windows OS installation, configuration, and support. Robust Level 2 troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and basic network issues (e.g., DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP). PowerShell scripting experience is essential. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: 365 Endpoint Administrator and ITIL v4 Foundation are advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a service-oriented approach. Experience in a government or public sector context is desirable.

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Endpoint and Device Management. If selected, you will be offered a direct two-year contract with our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and sustain Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) for software deployment, patch management, and device compliance.
  • Execute imaging and reimaging tasks for desktops, laptops, and servers, ensuring adherence to standardization and security compliance.
  • Provision new and existing endpoints and servers, encompassing installation, configuration, and lifecycle management.
  • Oversee and troubleshoot Active Directory Group Policies (GPOs) to ensure optimal functionality and compliance.
  • Provide Level 2 support for desktop, hardware, software, and network-related incidents.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance testing for modifications to end-user equipment (e.g., security patching, application version upgrades).
  • Collaborate with the IT support team to resolve escalated issues and liaise with vendors for hardware repairs when necessary.
  • Possess hands-on experience with Windows 10 and the latest Windows 11 technologies.
  • Evaluate and recommend hardware and software upgrades (e.g., Tech Refresh) for end-user equipment.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of VDI Technology.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
