Client Portfolio Manager - Mifid

We are on the lookout for a Client Portfolio Manager for our Madrid office, possessing a solid background in dealing, trading, and account management. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in developing, expanding, and managing our Institutional client base, overseeing trading account setup, relationship management, and deal execution.

As a CPM, you will provide tailored advice and strategies to clients, helping them navigate FX risk challenges effectively. You will plan, structure, and execute transactions, ensuring clients receive optimal value while contributing to Ebury’s growth.

This comprehensive role demands demonstrated expertise in dealing and FX trading, outstanding sales skills, and a genuine passion for acquiring new clients while nurturing existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities as a Client Portfolio Manager

  • Drive New Business Acquisition: Actively identify, engage, and onboard new corporate clients through independent research, strategic outreach, and networking. Generate new business by leveraging existing client relationships for referrals.
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with institutional clients and the fund ecosystem (investment managers, corporate service providers, and fund administrators), comprehending their investment goals, risk tolerance, and FX needs.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, executing a range of products, including FX hedging, lending, payments, and cash management. Promote Ebury’s extensive product offerings, ensuring clients receive a premier service experience.
  • Collaborate with a successful sales team to support business origination. Understand clients' business landscapes, strategies, and industries to provide tailored solutions using Ebury's services.
