WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?A minimum of 2 years of cleaning and supervisory experience in a large facility. Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute tasks with minimal supervision. Experience in a unionized environment, with the ability to navigate Collective Agreements and provide execution guidelines. Flexible availability for start and end times, including weekends and statutory holidays as required. A clear criminal background check is required for this position. Minimum of 2 years of janitorial experience.

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will report directly to the Manager and oversee the cleaning operations and services within your designated area, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints while upholding both company and customer quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in managing budgeted hours for the assigned location.
  • Assigning daily tasks and responsibilities to cleaning staff.
  • Conducting regular inspections of work to ensure performance meets expected standards.
  • Assisting with the training of new cleaning personnel on-site.
  • Implementing Health & Safety protocols and ensuring the availability and proper use of safety devices and PPE.
  • Maintaining accurate timekeeping records for cleaning staff.
  • Responding to customer inquiries and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Overseeing inventory control and the daily Preventative Maintenance Program.
  • Exhibiting excellent phone communication skills and proficiency in client management software.
  • Possessing experience in working with unionized staff.
