Key ResponsibilitiesEngage in solid waste site development projects, including master plan development, design of stormwater management and erosion control systems, technical specifications, and cost estimations. Prepare comprehensive reports and studies to facilitate project permitting. Draft conceptual work and engineering packages. Travel to client facilities as needed to address design issues and monitor construction progress. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required. Engineer-in-Training (E. I. T.) certification is mandatory. Commitment to obtaining a Professional Engineer (P. E.) license. At least 4 years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in solid waste, land development, or related fields. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D is essential. Ideal candidates are team players with a passion for engineering and project management, capable of leading projects from planning through construction. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with team members, clients, regulators, and contractors are critical.
