About the job
About the Role
At Sapien, we are in a rapid growth phase, and we are seeking a Chief of Staff to ensure our momentum is matched by purposeful progress. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with our founders, overseeing the operational aspects that drive our success and spearheading cross-functional initiatives that do not fall under a single department.
This position is built on trust and influence, providing you with insight into all facets of the organization and ownership over critical areas: strategic planning, investor relations, recruitment, internal communications, and the go-to-market systems that fuel our revenue generation. If you excel in dynamic, high-output environments and are drawn to responsibilities that require strategic thinking and versatility, this opportunity is for you.
What You'll Own
Founder & Leadership Leverage
Enhance the effectiveness of the CEO and leadership team by managing their priorities and ensuring timely, informed decision-making.
Lead the preparation for board meetings, investor communications, and significant internal assessments.
Oversee high-priority cross-functional projects from inception through execution.
GTM & Revenue Operations
Manage the foundational operational processes behind sales and customer success, including pipeline management, CRM discipline, outbound coordination, and performance analytics.
Create and sustain dashboards that provide leadership with real-time insights into revenue, deployment health, and key performance indicators.
Engage in customer-facing activities as needed, demonstrating the ability to converse with CFOs and represent Sapien with credibility.
Strategy & Company Operations
Translate ambiguous priorities into well-structured plans with defined responsibilities and timelines.
Identify operational inefficiencies and design effective solutions, establishing repeatable processes.
Assist in recruitment and team expansion as the organization grows.
What We're Looking For
4-7 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a senior operations role in a high-growth startup.
Strong financial acumen with comfort in P&L statements, operational metrics, and corporate finance principles.
Demonstrated ability to build systems and processes that drive organizational effectiveness.
Exemplary written communication skills, capable of producing concise executive briefs, investor updates, and internal communications.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining a strategic focus.
