The company’s mission is to help clinicians open and grow their own clinics using AI-powered software, payer contracting, and back-office support. Alpaca Health works to shift influence in healthcare from large organizations back to the clinicians who support families. With rapid growth and expansion into new states this year, Alpaca Health faces complex operational challenges that directly impact families. The company has raised over $14 million from early-stage investors including Core VC, Adverb Ventures, and South Park Commons. Alpaca Health serves hundreds of patients and reports a 30% month-over-month growth rate. Chief of Staff Role The Chief of Staff will work closely with the CEO to help Alpaca Health scale. This position is suited for a versatile leader interested in organizational development and operational excellence. The Chief of Staff will drive strategic priorities, speed up execution, and put systems in place to help the company stay ahead of competitors. This is a broad role that touches strategy, product, hiring, growth, fundraising, and operations, all within a growing healthcare company. The focus is on increasing the productivity of both the CEO and the wider organization, not just managing calendars or handling special projects. The company sets high expectations and moves quickly. Key Responsibilities Act as an Extension of the CEO Stay up to date on company priorities, risks, staffing, launches, and important decisions. Help the CEO focus on the most impactful opportunities. Assess strategies and turn high-level direction into concrete plans. Prepare for leadership meetings, investor updates, and major company decisions. Drive Execution Across Teams Lead cross-functional projects, starting with provider success and digital growth. This may evolve into a functional lead or hiring responsibility. Clarify complex or ambiguous problems and drive them to resolution. Build processes that support sustainable growth. Develop Systems for Scaling Oversee the creation of operational frameworks that enable the company’s growth goals. Location: New York City, NY
