Join our cutting-edge surgical team in Rochester, New York, or Syracuse! We are looking for a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide essential anesthesia services within our state-of-the-art Operating Room (OR) and modern Surgery Center. Enjoy the benefits of a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with no on-call or OB responsibilities.

Your Role:

As a CRNA, you will be at the forefront of patient care, delivering comprehensive anesthesia services to a diverse range of patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Pre-Anesthetic Assessment: Conduct detailed pre-operative assessments, reviewing medical histories, performing physical evaluations, and developing tailored anesthetic plans.
  • Anesthesia Administration: Administer and manage various anesthesia types (general, regional, local, and sedation) for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Intraoperative Monitoring: Continuously monitor vital signs and physiological responses, making adjustments as necessary to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Post-Anesthetic Care: Supervise patient recovery in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), managing post-operative pain and potential complications.
  • Equipment Management: Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, ensuring all instruments are fully operational.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists to provide seamless patient care.
  • Documentation: Keep precise and timely patient records, adhering to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Patient Education: Communicate clearly with patients and families about anesthesia processes, risks, and recovery expectations.
  • Quality Improvement: Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing anesthesia practices and overall patient care.
