CNA Training Program Overview
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program at Crestwood prepares participants to support healthcare teams and assist patients with daily needs. Training covers a variety of responsibilities, including personal care and essential clinical tasks.
- Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
- Assisting with personal hygiene, such as bathing and grooming
- Helping with dressing
- Providing feeding support
- Toileting assistance
- Ambulation and repositioning
- Routine Tasks:
- Cleaning, making beds, and preparing rooms for new admissions
- Recording food and fluid intake and output
- Taking and documenting vital signs
- Collecting specimens
- Gathering and stocking medical supplies
Program Details
- 168-hour program delivered over 10 weeks
- Includes classroom lectures, hands-on skill labs, and clinical training
- Earn $20.20 per hour during certification training
- Tutoring offered to help prepare for the state CNA exam
- Class dates: June 22 to August 27, 2026
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, plus three required Fridays for additional training
