Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive system-level characterization of camera optical and electrical performance within sophisticated robotic systems. Design and implement precise calibration protocols and manufacturing test processes tailored for high-precision vision systems. Lead the hardware and software integration of vision systems from prototype to mass production. Serve as the main technical liaison for external vendors, ensuring alignment with performance standards. Develop detailed specifications and measurable metrics for camera validation systems. Collaborate closely with AI perception teams to harmonize system requirements and feature development. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.3+ years of relevant experience in camera and imaging systems. Solid understanding of electrical, optical, and mechanical components of camera modules. Proficiency in Python and C/C++ programming languages. Experience working within a Linux environment. Familiarity with standard image quality assessment tools and software (e.g., Imatest, Image Engineering, Matlab or similar). Willingness to work full-time on-site. Preferred QualificationsDemonstrated experience with stereo vision systems and consumer camera products. Knowledge of machine learning and computer vision techniques.
