Position Details
- Title: Business Operations Manager
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Compensation: $50,000 – $70,000 per year (based on experience)
- Location: Remote , Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (must be comfortable working across multiple time zones)
Role Overview
The Business Operations Manager oversees daily operations at Bloom & Bond. This role centers on building and maintaining systems, supporting team performance, and managing supply chain activities. The position requires a proactive operator who brings structure, documents procedures, manages teams, and keeps work moving efficiently. Success is measured by how smoothly the business runs, with minimal friction or bottlenecks.
This role offers significant ownership and a direct impact on the company’s performance and scalability.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain operational systems
- Ensure the team meets key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes
- Manage inventory, third-party logistics (3PL), and logistics operations
- Provide financial transparency for operational expenditures
Systems & SOP Development
- Create, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for every role and process within Notion
- Equip team members with clear playbooks and job scorecards
- Review workflows and identify bottlenecks
- Establish systems that reduce reliance on informal knowledge
- Maintain operational dashboards and KPI trackers
- Use AI tools to automate and improve repetitive tasks
People Management & Accountability
- Serve as the main point of contact for the team each day
- Lead weekly team meetings and structured one-on-one sessions
- Track KPIs using role-specific scorecards
- Conduct monthly and quarterly performance reviews
- Address underperformance and implement performance improvement plans (PIPs) as needed
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of contractor and team payments
- Foster a culture of accountability and ownership
Hiring & Onboarding
- Oversee hiring for new roles, including job postings, screening, assessments, and scheduling
- Manage recruitment activities if additional recruiters join the team
- Keep job descriptions and scorecards up to date
- Create structured onboarding plans for each new hire
- Help new team members acclimate quickly through documented systems
Supply Chain & Fulfillment
- Oversee inventory tracking and demand forecasting
- Manage reorder cycles proactively
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely fulfillment
