Key Responsibilities:Cross-Team Coordination: Maintain a clear understanding of project assignments across product, design, engineering, and implementation teams. You will be the go-to person for identifying staffing options and managing team allocations when new clients come on board. Workload Visibility and Risk Tracking: Develop a streamlined system to provide weekly insights into team workloads, ongoing projects, and potential delivery risks, allowing leadership to address issues proactively. Operational Rhythm: Ensure regular sync meetings have agendas, project cycles are on schedule, and follow-ups on action items are executed. You will be responsible for tracking out-of-office plans and scheduling reviews. Staffing and Project Coordination: Manage project reassignments, handle PTO coverage, and oversee customer escalations to ensure smooth transitions and prevent any tasks from falling through the cracks. Vendor and Logistics Management: Oversee office space arrangements, software contracts, expense approvals, and travel bookings in partnership with People Operations. This essential work should not burden those focused on product development.

As a rapidly growing fintech company, Prelim is experiencing an unprecedented annual growth rate of 2-3x. Our innovative platform facilitates seamless account opening and onboarding for banks nationwide. At this pivotal moment in our journey, we recognize that the informal systems that have served us thus far will not suffice for our ambitious future.

Currently, the responsibility for project coordination, tracking, and maintaining our operational efficiency predominantly falls on our engineers, designers, and product leads. This arrangement is not sustainable as we scale.

In the role of our inaugural Business Operations Lead, you will have the unique opportunity to establish our operational framework from the ground up. With no pre-existing playbook or team, you will define priorities, create scalable processes, and ensure that nothing is overlooked as we continue to expand rapidly.
