Business Intelligence Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Solution Architect to join our team in Montreal, QC for a full-time, permanent position. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of expertise in architecting, designing, implementing, managing, and supporting OLTP, OLAP, databases, ETL processes, as well as analysis and reporting systems.Key Responsibilities:Assess business requirements and identify technical specifications to develop viable technology solutions.Data modeling, integration, and report design.Extensive experience in ETL from diverse source systems.Formulate and recommend standards to achieve maximum performance and efficiency in the database/data warehouse ecosystem.Develop and implement complex data models for data warehouse applications.Recommend tools for integration, reporting, and analytics.Gather requirements and conduct functional and technical analysis for BI solutions in customer support domains at both on-site and offshore locations.Design BI strategy/roadmap, resolve technical issues, support technical solutions in proposals, develop proof of concepts in new BI areas, and conduct customer presentations on Microsoft BI capabilities.Contribute to the overall enterprise data architecture and conceptual data model.Qualifications:10+ years of overall experience in implementing end-to-end BI projects, including T-SQL programming, SSIS, SSAS, tabular modeling, DAX, MDX, and Reporting services.1+ years of experience with reporting tools such as HighChart, QlikView, or Tableau.Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, PerformancePoint Server, Power View, QlikView, Tableau, and HighChart integrated with SharePoint.Excellent communication and team management skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive attitude.Exposure to Big Data technologies is a plus.
