Key Responsibilities:Data Modeling & Transformation: Design, construct, and maintain scalable data models (dimensional, star/snowflake schemas); develop and optimize SQL/PL-SQL transformations for analytical use; implement and manage semantic layers to standardize business logic and metrics; ensure data quality, consistency, and governance. BI Development & Analytics Delivery: Create and maintain dashboards, liveboards, and search-driven analytics (preferably in ThoughtSpot); convert business requirements into intuitive, self-service analytics solutions; collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting standards. Data Platform & Engineering Integration: Work within Snowflake for data modeling, performance tuning, and cost optimization; partner with data engineering teams on data pipelines and ingestion frameworks; enhance query performance and warehouse utilization. Embedded Analytics & Enablement: Support embedded analytics use cases (APIs, SDKs, or iframe-based integrations); empower users with governed, scalable analytics access; promote the adoption of BI tools through best practices and training. Governance & Best Practices: Establish and enforce standards for data governance and BI best practices.

Role Overview

The Business Intelligence & Analytics Engineer will work onsite in Overland Park, KS. This role connects data engineering and analytics, turning raw data into reliable datasets and delivering analytics solutions using TreviPay’s BI visualization tools and cloud data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transform raw data into scalable, dependable datasets for analytics use
  • Develop and deliver analytics solutions through BI visualization platforms
  • Collaborate with both data engineering and analytics teams
  • Support and enhance cloud data infrastructure

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong skills in SQL and PL-SQL
  • Experience with semantic layer modeling
  • Background in BI development
  • Knowledge of data platform integration (Snowflake preferred)
  • Experience enabling embedded analytics and self-service data tools
