Join our dynamic team as a Business Development Specialist at Latitude Inc. in Sacramento, CA. We are in search of a seasoned sales professional with a proven success record in construction, manufacturing, or similar blue-collar sectors. This role is perfect for a motivated self-starter who excels at fostering relationships, driving growth, and enhancing market presence.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in initiating new business, managing the complete sales cycle, and achieving tangible results in a technical or industrial sales context.

Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement strategic sales plans to discover and secure new business opportunities within assigned markets.
- Cultivate and sustain long-lasting relationships with clients, distributors, contractors, and influential industry figures.
- Propel market growth by uncovering untapped prospects and employing innovative sales strategies.
- Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and technical consultations to comprehend client needs and propose effective solutions.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as operations, estimating, and production to meet client expectations from quote to delivery.
- Create and present proposals, quotes, and engage in contract negotiations with professionalism and precision.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities and areas for differentiation.
- Represent Latitude Inc. at trade shows, conferences, and customer events as required.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record in independently growing a market; a self-starter adept at generating leads and closing sales with minimal oversight.
- In-depth understanding of technical sales, with the ability to effectively communicate value to blue-collar or operations-focused clients.
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing revenue targets.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and readiness to travel as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in selling industrial equipment, construction materials, or manufacturing services.
- Background in territory development or business expansion roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
