As part of the Campus Services department, FMO is committed to providing top-notch building maintenance, fire safety, custodial, and event support services tailored to the unique needs of Harvard schools and departments while adhering strictly to regulatory requirements and customer standards.Key Responsibilities:Respond promptly to maintenance requests, with a strong focus on HVAC systems, ensuring initial triage, stabilization, and repair.Inspect, adjust, and repair various heating, cooling, and auxiliary systems, ensuring optimal operation.Interpret and update mechanical plans as necessary for accurate building system management.Monitor and report on the status of building systems utilizing DDC technology to ensure efficiency.Assist customers with maintenance solutions and provide updates on the progress of work.Perform essential trade skills and other related duties as required.Work independently or as part of a multi-trade team under the guidance of supervisors.Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a professional appearance at all times.Working Conditions:Designation: Critical Operations Personnel, required to provide support during emergencies as directed by management.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and transport equipment exceeding 200 lbs with assistance.Capable of pushing and pulling heavy loads and performing tasks that require bending, stooping, and working in awkward positions.Must be able to navigate multiple stairs and work from ladders and lifts as needed.
