Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager
Join Manusai as a dynamic and detail-oriented BDR Manager based in Singapore, where you will spearhead our Business Development initiatives across the APAC region. This pivotal Go-To-Market (GTM) role emphasizes pipeline development, lead qualification, and the creation of a high-impact BDR operation from the ground up.
In the initial phase, you will actively engage in inbound and outbound qualification calls, while also taking charge of establishing processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and team leadership necessary to cultivate a top-performing BDR organization. This role is crucial to Manusai's growth strategy and plays a significant part in transforming demand into viable revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
As the BDR Manager, you will oversee the entire top-of-funnel process and ensure a steady flow of high-quality pipeline for the sales team.
Pipeline & Qualification Management
Conduct inbound and outbound qualification calls: Personally manage discovery and qualification calls for inbound leads (including PLGs, demos, partnerships) and outbound prospects to maintain high quality standards.
Establish lead qualification criteria: Develop and enforce frameworks (e.g., ICP, MEDDICC-lite, PQL criteria) to guarantee that only sales-ready opportunities progress.
Transform demand into actionable pipeline: Convert signals from marketing, product-led initiatives, partnerships, and outbound efforts into well-qualified SQLs for Account Executives.
Outbound & Inbound Strategies
Create outbound prospecting playbooks: Identify ICPs, personas, messaging, sequences, and call scripts across various market segments, including SMB, mid-market, and enterprise.
Enhance inbound qualification processes: Develop efficient, consistent workflows for routing, prioritizing, and qualifying inbound leads to optimize speed-to-contact and conversion rates.
Collaborate with Marketing & Growth: Work closely on campaigns, experiments, and feedback loops to continuously refine lead quality and conversion rates.
Leadership & Management of the BDR Team
Recruit and lead the BDR team: Hire, onboard, mentor, and manage an expanding team of BDRs focused on both inbound and outbound efforts.
Define targets and performance metrics: Own activity, conversion, and pipeline KPIs; conduct weekly performance reviews and coaching sessions.
