Business Development Representative (BDR) Role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven early-career sales professional with an entrepreneurial mindset to join our outbound Sales team in New York City. Through diligent research on prospective clients and innovative outreach, you will shape our outbound sales strategy and contribute to revenue growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and prospecting strategic business accounts through cold calling, emailing, and social media to educate them about our offerings.
  • Collaborating with the Sales team to create and implement effective prospecting strategies that build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Engaging with inbound leads and conducting qualification assessments during initial communications and ongoing metrics.
  • Supporting the Product Lead sales initiatives by promoting Free Tier usage to self-service paying customers and enterprise sales efforts.
  • Experimenting with various audiences, messaging, and channels to generate new business opportunities.

Who You Are

  • At least 1 year of experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).

Your First Month

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Reality Defender’s product offerings.
  • Learn about the sales process and how to effectively collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Qualify inbound leads and assist in the discovery process.
  • Engage in lead generation and prospecting activities.

Your First Three Months

  • Contribute to Product Lead Growth (PLG) initiatives and support sales efforts.
