Role Overview: Business Development Representative
The Business Development team at Braze is central to future revenue growth. Team members identify and support potential customers as they improve their engagement strategies. The BDR role offers the chance to develop commercial skills and have a direct impact on the business.
What You Will Do
- Identify and target prospective accounts
- Develop and execute email and phone outreach campaigns
- Engage with C-suite executives
- Present Braze’s value proposition
- Qualify initial business opportunities
Daily work includes collaborating with Account Executives on account strategies, conducting discovery calls, meeting with account leaders, crafting personalized outreach, and attending events to generate leads. The focus is on building strong relationships that lead to new business.
Team and Environment
Each BDR has individual performance targets, but the team works toward shared goals. Collaboration, open communication, and initiative are part of the culture. Support and camaraderie are strong, and team members have the freedom to shape their own sales success.
The BDR team works from the Singapore office on a hybrid schedule, with at least three days in the office each week. This setup supports learning and team growth.
