ProgressSoft is seeking an experienced Business Development Officer (BDO) with a robust background in sales of banking and payment solutions, ideally with 5-10 years of experience. The successful candidate will have established relationships with major banks in the UAE and will oversee the entire sales cycle from initial outreach to contract signing and ongoing maintenance. The BDO will also conduct market analyses and foster strong connections with senior management in the banking and financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales targets set by ProgressSoft.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the UAE market aligned with ProgressSoft’s 2022-2026 strategic plan.
- Manage the complete sales process, collaborating with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Technical Team Leaders.
- Coordinate with various ProgressSoft teams to ensure effective customer engagement and understanding of their needs.
- Work closely with the Bidding Team to prepare documents and proposals that highlight business requirements and ProgressSoft’s capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts and proposals for solutions and ongoing maintenance.
- Utilize ProgressSoft’s CRM extensively to maintain and update client profiles.
- Conduct competitive analysis and prepare comparison sheets to position ProgressSoft favorably against competitors.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strong distribution channels with prominent global, regional, and local firms.
