Key Responsibilities:Acquire new clients within a designated territory, targeting Fortune 100 and 500 companies by securing new business sales and enhancing existing contracts. Utilize exceptional discovery skills to identify client challenges and link them to our solutions. Oversee the complete sales cycle while leveraging internal resources and sales support teams as necessary. Develop and maintain a solid sales pipeline through proactive cold calling and following up on marketing leads. Prepare precise sales forecasts, innovative growth strategies, and contingency plans. Achieve defined KPIs, ensuring performance aligns with EIU’s standards and expectations. Continuously enhance product and industry knowledge, along with understanding client pain points to provide optimal support to prospects and colleagues. Fully engage in the objectives of your team/division and reach personal goals set by management.

Position Overview
In our capacity as the research and analysis division of The Economist Group, The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) equips leaders with the confidence to seize opportunities and make informed strategic decisions. As an industry leader, the EIU provides high-quality, actionable intelligence to both public and private sectors, assessing factors that influence businesses in over 200 countries.

We are on the lookout for dynamic sales professionals to expand our presence and client base across the Americas. The Business Development Manager will adopt a consultative approach to sell our portfolio of macroeconomic and political solutions across the financial services, corporate, government, professional services, and consulting sectors.
