This pivotal role within our Corporate Sales division is essential for fostering and nurturing relationships with major corporations in the Industrials sector. As a hunter-focused position, you will spearhead the development of partnerships with both large and mid-sized clients, engaging with the top 30 global diversified Industrials companies and helping them unlock the full potential of GLG's comprehensive product offerings. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Drive business development efforts in the Industrials sector by identifying, cultivating, and expanding opportunities with key accounts.
- Develop outreach strategies to identify target prospects in priority markets and enhance the sales pipeline for both existing and new accounts.
- Construct and regularly update detailed account maps of key stakeholders and departments within major accounts.
- Establish and maintain robust relationships with clients and decision-makers across various seniority levels, including managers, directors, and C-level executives.
- Create compelling pitch materials and engage with potential clients through diverse communication channels, including email, phone, and face-to-face meetings.
- Deliver impactful presentations that showcase the value of GLG's services to potential clients.
- Collaborate closely with sales leadership to drive commercial success, develop strategic account plans, and regularly engage with clients to articulate GLG's value proposition and discover new growth opportunities.
- Log and monitor sales pipeline opportunities using CRM systems, providing clear and accurate updates to the team and senior management.
- Collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams (marketing, legal, compliance, finance, IT) to ensure alignment and smooth execution of all business development activities.
- Work alongside GLG project teams to support the execution and delivery of research projects, offering guidance and assistance as necessary.
