Innovative Beauty Group (IBG) brings beauty concepts to life for clients worldwide. With a team of over 300 professionals across 13 locations, IBG specializes in turnkey solutions, private labeling, and packaging for the beauty industry.

The Business Development Manager position is based in New York and centers on growing IBG’s presence in packaging and turnkey solutions. This role builds new client relationships, supports the company’s expansion goals, and works closely with marketing, finance, and product development teams to ensure sales efforts align with broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new clients and business opportunities in packaging and turnkey solutions by analyzing market trends.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies, manage account plans, and foster relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and deliver customized solutions.
  • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, maintaining a strong pipeline of prospects.
  • Represent IBG at industry events and networking functions to promote products and services.
  • Achieve or surpass business development targets to help drive revenue and increase market share.
  • Share market insights with product and marketing teams to inform company strategy.
  • Prepare and present proposals and presentations to clients.
  • Engage prospects through cold calls, email outreach, and social media.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client communications.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry developments to refine business strategies.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams, including Project Management, Product Development, Industrial Design, Packaging Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Advise clients on project timelines and address any issues or delays proactively.
