Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement new business sales strategies and annual plans targeting prospective and newly acquired accounts in Spain. Lead sales strategy and processes within the region, utilizing all available resources to secure new accounts. Foster long-term relationships with key accounts. Proactively build relationships with decision-makers up to the C-suite level at prospective and newly acquired customers. Identify, qualify, pursue (design and propose), negotiate, and successfully close new business in close collaboration with local management, operations, and legal teams. Leverage and direct sales engineering, marketing, and overlay resources as needed. Maintain expert knowledge of colocation product offerings and pricing. Effectively present Goodman’s compelling value proposition to clients.

We are looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager based in Madrid to enhance our Data Centre project team. The ideal candidate will spearhead new sales initiatives and drive revenue growth across Spain. Your primary responsibility will be to forge new client relationships with major Spanish enterprises, including MSE-listed and large/mid-sized companies. A proactive, hunter mentality is essential as you engage with target clients, participate in industry events, and oversee the end-to-end lead-to-contract process. You will employ consultative selling techniques and possess a deep understanding of the data centre and technology sectors to identify opportunities and meet sales quotas in the enterprise/wholesale co-location market. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of establishing new client relationships and consistently surpassing sales objectives in this domain.
