About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Lead to spearhead our efforts in identifying, pursuing, and securing strategic partnerships that will expand Sent's presence in new markets and verticals. Your primary focus will be on cultivating relationships with enterprise platforms, technology partners, and industry leaders where embedded messaging can create significant mutual value.
This is a proactive role designed for a self-starter who excels at opening doors to uncharted verticals and ecosystems. You will employ a strategic approach to map new markets, build compelling business cases, and drive deals from initial conversation through to signed agreements.
Collaboration is key; you will work closely with sales, product, and leadership teams to identify the partnerships that will have the greatest impact. This hands-on position is perfect for someone comfortable operating independently, building from the ground up, and navigating complex enterprise environments.
In this role, you will…
Identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities across diverse verticals, including healthcare, fintech, e-commerce, logistics, and SaaS platforms.
Manage the complete partnership lifecycle, including prospecting, outreach, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
Develop and validate business cases for new verticals, ensuring demand and fit before allocating resources.
Maintain a robust pipeline of enterprise and platform partnership opportunities.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define integration requirements and co-develop solutions with partners.
Work alongside sales to create co-selling and referral strategies that drive mutual pipeline growth.
Partner with marketing on joint go-to-market initiatives, case studies, and partner announcements.
Represent Sent at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings.
Track and analyze partnership pipeline, revenue impact, and market insights.
