Mindset & Interests:A collaborative team player with a growth mindset and a willingness to contribute across various projects and functions. A strong desire to learn quickly and take on diverse responsibilities with a proactive approach. A genuine interest in marketing and business development trends, with a desire to apply them practically. Core Skills:Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly and fostering teamwork. Resourceful and proactive, with the ability to foresee challenges and seize opportunities. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Join Carousell Group as a motivated Business Development Intern and play a vital role in our regional expansion efforts. This dynamic position focuses on lead generation, outreach, reporting, and event management, providing you with opportunities to engage in creative and digital marketing projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event & Campaign Support:

    • Assist in the ideation, planning, and execution of events.

    • Oversee logistics before, during, and after events to ensure smooth coordination.

    • Facilitate post-event follow-ups.

  • Lead Generation & Outreach:

    • Identify and qualify new leads using various platforms and databases.

    • Maintain lead accuracy within our CRM.

    • Implement multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, messaging platforms, and calls) to engage potential leads and ensure timely follow-up.

    • Conduct occasional cold calls to new prospects and upsell calls to existing merchants.

    • Leverage AI tools to automate lead research, data enrichment, and personalized outreach messaging.

  • Reporting & Analytics:

    • Monitor and report on outreach activities, including contact numbers, responses, and conversions.

    • Prepare regular performance reports and insights for management.

  • Digital & Creative Support:

    • Contribute to building and updating the merchant website with relevant content.

    • Create marketing materials and assets using Photoshop, Canva, and similar tools.

    • Assist in video production for campaigns and promotional activities (preferred, but not required).
