Role overview

The Business Development Consultant - Life Sciences will join the Life Sciences team in London. This position is central to CF’s growth plans and focuses on building and maintaining commercial relationships. The role emphasizes analytical skills and commercial consulting, rather than technical expertise.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with the Managing Partner, Life Sciences Director, and Business Development Manager to expand CF’s business pipeline
  • Strengthen relationships with key accounts
  • Develop and refine business development strategies to raise awareness of CF’s offerings
  • Prepare proposals and oversee high-quality bidding processes
  • Communicate CF’s thought leadership to target audiences at strategic moments
  • Support business plan development and manage opportunity pipelines
  • Take ownership of named accounts, business development workstreams, and proposal processes

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
  • Experience or interest in business development within consulting or life sciences
  • Ability to work with agility and sound judgment, especially when information is incomplete or structures are evolving
  • Comfort taking ownership of projects and processes
