Qualifications

Possess 3-4 years of experience in data management, CRM administration, or related fields. Hold a degree, diploma, or certificate in Data Science and Management Information Systems. Experience in the Construction Industry is advantageous but not mandatory. Fluency in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of Arabic and/or French is a plus. Capable of leading a service development plan for clients as part of a strategy to establish new business lines. Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, and present confidently when speaking or presenting. Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills along with computer proficiency. Apply advanced problem-solving skills in a solution-oriented manner. Achieve results through collaboration without formal authority. Familiarity with CRM software back-end manipulation such as Appitvo, Zoho CRM, Salesforce, Insightly, etc.

The Business Development Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring that the department functions effectively, maintaining the accuracy and accessibility of business data to support informed decision-making. By overseeing the CRM system, training users, and aiding in opportunity analysis and reporting, this position empowers the organization to identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic growth avenues. Acting as the backbone of the Business Development Department, this role facilitates seamless operations that directly influence the company's capacity to make timely, data-driven decisions and achieve sustainable success.

Your Contributions

The Business Development Associate offers cross-functional support to promote a cohesive business management approach throughout the organization. Primarily based in the office, this role assists the Department Head and Business Development Officers (BDOs) with daily operations while managing the CRM system as the regional administrator. This includes leading a team of super-users, providing training, and ensuring that all business information is accurate, current, and processed efficiently in the CRM, thereby supporting opportunity identification, data analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

CRM Management

  • Establish and remove Projects, Accounts, and Contacts in the CRM.

  • Integrate new information sourced internally and externally.

  • Maintain the system through regular clean-ups and enhancements to improve user experience.

  • Oversee CRM users and permissions, serve as the regional administrator, and guide a team of 3-5 super-users.

  • Conduct presentations and training sessions on CRM usage.

  • Align and implement Group CRM policies and procedures in collaboration with the Head Office.

Support for Business Development Activities

  • Streamline and aggregate information from Business Development Officers within the CRM.

  • Assist in evaluating ventures and opportunities for management decisions.

  • Facilitate data mining for potential opportunities and market insights.

  • Provide early detection of strategic, focus, short-term, and long-term business prospects.

  • Contribute to data analysis, dashboards, and business forecasting.

  • Support the Client Centricity initiative.

Reporting Responsibilities

  • Generate monthly reports for the board and management.

  • Update dashboards for meetings and analytical purposes.

  • Create trend reports based on market and internal CRM data.

Administrative Duties

  • Draft formal communications such as Confidentiality Agreements and Expressions of Interest.

  • Assist with document management, including obtaining signatures and submissions.

  • Support the arrangement of internal and external meetings.
