The Role:
As we experience rapid expansion, we are eager to assemble a passionate team of Business Development professionals focused on our National Partners. The National Partners Business Development Associate (BDA) plays a pivotal role in transforming distribution relationships into measurable economic value—activating the right partners, driving them toward consistent production, and fine-tuning our portfolio to ensure that growth is intentional, scalable, and repeatable. This position directly reports to the Director of Growth and Distribution Strategy.
This dynamic role encompasses the management of both established and newly onboarded partners within the National Partners channel, with a primary focus on driving engagement through high-volume outbound activities and strategic follow-up. We seek an individual who is not only focused on premium growth but also dedicated to creating a system and partner ecosystem that guarantees sustained growth.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Prospecting: Identify and assess promising new National Partner opportunities that align with our strategic objectives, volume expectations, and quality criteria.
- High-Volume Outreach: Maintain an engaging routine of at least 40 proactive outreach activities each week (including calls and meetings) to stimulate pipeline growth and partner activation.
- Drive Distribution & Premium: Collaborate closely with underwriting, marketing, and growth teams to devise and execute distribution strategies that consistently enhance partner premium within the National Partners segment.
- Portfolio Activation & Management: Oversee a portfolio of National Partners, with a key focus on activating “passive” relationships and encouraging new partner offices to engage in submission activities within 90 days.
- Submission Growth: Achieve a 100% year-over-year increase in submissions through persistent outreach, diligent follow-up, and focused engagement with partners.
- Performance Reporting: Establish, monitor, and communicate insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as submission trends and activation timelines, while consistently meeting or exceeding growth targets.
- Process Improvement: Contribute significantly to enhancing partner management and onboarding processes to expedite the path to premium.
- CRM Discipline: Maintain rigorous adherence to CRM practices to ensure effective tracking and management of partner interactions.
