Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG) is actively searching for a dynamic, collaborative, and resolute individual to become a vital member of our Industrials team, supporting a diverse portfolio of global client accounts. The Business Development Associate (BDA) will play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within targeted prospects and newly established accounts. This position involves assisting in showcasing our capabilities to clients, utilizing our CRM for client account management, and collaborating closely with the Business Development Manager to secure new GLG subscriptions.
This role is primarily supportive, yet instrumental in driving new business across a range of prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Research target accounts and contacts to identify key decision-makers and their specific objectives/pain points.
- Conduct personalized outreach through email, cold calling, and LinkedIn to prospects at key new logos.
- Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to comprehend their business challenges, needs, budget, authority, and timelines.
- Clearly and concisely articulate GLG's value proposition, focusing on solutions to the prospect’s challenges.
- Maintain daily and weekly activity targets.
Performance metrics for the Business Development Associate will include total outreach, successful connections, relationship establishment with client contacts, client contract value, increased user engagement with GLG's services, and subscription sales growth. The associate will work closely with the Business Development Manager, with the commercial success of the new logo team being a key performance indicator.
