As a Business Development and Client Relations Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's sponsorship team to enhance business development initiatives and ensure client retention. This position involves on-site event support, client engagement opportunities, and potential travel for conferences and client meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the senior management team to create and execute strategic plans aimed at achieving annual revenue goals.
- Oversee and prioritize opportunities to strengthen client relationships and expedite decision-making processes that boost revenue through increased service utilization.
- Engage in strategic discussions with client account leads weekly to explore opportunities and ensure effective solution sales; provide accurate forecasts based on realistic assessments.
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of the sales process along with product and service value propositions.
- Maintain and update the CRM database and related applications to ensure the accuracy of all pertinent client and prospect information.
- Collaborate with the sponsorship sales manager to fulfill requests for proposals/information promptly, accurately, and professionally.
- Support client interactions on strategic accounts, including facilitating investor meetings, gathering event deliverables, and executing sponsorship agreements.
- Initiate investor outreach through calls and emails to secure meetings with key prospects of our clients.
- Schedule, manage, and execute all client and prospect engagements, including preparation and follow-up; participate in client meetings and conference calls on behalf of team managers.
- Organize and produce essential collateral materials for conferences.
