General Summary

As a Business Affairs Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing the licensing of content with third parties and processing royalties. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate royalty system data, engaging with licensing and royalty clients, and assisting in various processes that support our Business Affairs team.

We are looking for a continuous learner who approaches challenges as opportunities for growth. You will value collaboration and actively seek ways to support your colleagues, while working closely with the Business Affairs team and liaising with Production, Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Business Affairs.

Core Functions:

  • Process and reconcile third-party payments within the Alfred Royalty System (ARS).
  • Maintain accurate data for royalty payables, client information, copyright notices, publisher splits, and song details in ARS.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with royalty and licensing clients.
  • Handle third-party license requests including lyric/music reprints, arrangement licenses, photocopies, festival permissions, and sub-publishing rights.
  • Manage MakeMusic Cloud licensing processing.
  • Oversee copyright and Performance Rights Organization (PRO) registrations.
  • Conduct copyright claims and publisher research.
  • Engage in copyright enforcement, including DMCA/Cease and Desist communications.
