Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer, preferably in life sciences, semiconductors, or other mission-critical industries. Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems. Familiarity with commissioning procedures, testing methodologies, and industry standards. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Ability to travel to job sites as required.

Join our dynamic team at cagents as a Building Commissioning Engineer, where your expertise will be pivotal in overseeing the installation, startup, and testing of state-of-the-art mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and control systems across a range of complex projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in every phase of capital construction project delivery, ensuring that all systems align with rigorous specifications, quality benchmarks, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the commissioning process for MEP and control systems on various projects.
Perform comprehensive inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems to ensure adherence to design specifications.
Create and execute detailed commissioning plans, including testing schedules, procedures, and documentation requirements.
Formulate system-specific Pre-Functional Checklists and Functional Performance Test protocols.
Contribute to design reviews of MEP systems.
Coordinate field activities and collaborate with technicians and trade partners during construction and testing phases.
Conduct functional performance tests to validate system performance against design criteria.
Identify and resolve any issues during the commissioning process to guarantee efficient and safe system operations.
Compile and review test reports, commissioning documentation, and final project handover packages.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Support the project manager in tracking commissioning deliverables and activities.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution and timely delivery.
Maintain meticulous records of commissioning activities and outcomes for future reference.

Qualifications:
