Qualifications:Must possess a New York State Professional Engineer license. A minimum of 8-15 years of experience in Bridge Project Management, with prior experience with NYDOT. Demonstrated ability to manage bridge projects effectively and lead teams to achieve scheduling, budget, and quality objectives. Exceptional communication skills are essential. Ability to collaborate remotely with team members across different locations. Experience working with local municipalities and state projects is preferred.

Join our dynamic team at LaBella Associates as a Bridge Project Engineer in Rochester, NY. In this pivotal role, you will lead and coordinate project activities through all phases, ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage projects to ensure they meet planning, quality assurance, deadlines, and financial targets while maintaining the high standards of our firm.
  • Engage in all project aspects including proposal development, contract negotiations, and project work planning with the project team.
  • Organize and supervise project staff workloads to optimize efficiency.
  • Monitor project costs to guarantee delivery within budgetary constraints.
  • Review invoices for accuracy and coordinate with the Accounting Department for customer billing and follow-up on outstanding invoices.
  • Compile monthly financial reports detailing project progress and projections.
  • Address and resolve all project-related issues promptly.
