Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering with 5-8 years of relevant experience in automotive brake development and vehicle testing. In-depth knowledge of hydraulic and electro-mechanical brake systems, including controllers and stability functions. Understanding of vehicle dynamics across varied surface conditions. Proficient in conducting tests at or near vehicle performance limits. Experience in both vehicle-level and bench-level brake integration. Hands-on experience with vehicles, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems. Familiarity with FMVSS-related brake testing protocols. Willingness to travel frequently within the continental United States (specifically CA, AZ, MI, OH, MN). Proficient with brake performance tools and software such as CANalyzer, INCA, MDA, MATLAB/Simulink, and Racelogic Vbox. Experience with project management and ticketing systems.

  • Support simulation development to forecast vehicle performance under various conditions.
  • Implement cutting-edge technical concepts to achieve peak brake performance.
  • Lead vehicle validation initiatives.
  • Oversee data analysis and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Utilize dashboards to monitor fleet performance metrics.
  • Manage and report on FMVSS-related testing protocols.
