Role Overview
The Biomedical Engineer / Clinical Engineer will work onsite in Louisville, KY. This person will oversee the medical equipment program for a healthcare facility, focusing on the safety, functionality, and regulatory compliance of medical technology. The position plays a key role in supporting day-to-day healthcare operations by ensuring equipment reliability and adherence to standards.
What You Will Do
- Manage and oversee the medical equipment program within a healthcare facility
- Ensure medical technology is safe, functional, and compliant with regulations
- Support ongoing maintenance and management of medical devices
- Work with computer-based medical systems and networking protocols
- Address information security concerns related to medical equipment
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting focused on medical equipment maintenance or management
- Solid understanding of computer-based medical systems
- Familiarity with networking protocols and information security
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations related to medical equipment
