Qualifications

Genuine passion for assisting children with autism. Demonstrated patience, empathy, and ability to collaborate in a team setting. Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test (if applicable). Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check. Capability to engage in various physical activities (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Bilingual in Spanish is a must. Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

In this fulfilling role, you will work closely with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the mentorship of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

As a Behavior Technician, you will employ evidence-based strategies to teach essential communication, social, and daily living skills while helping to reduce challenging behaviors. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who embody patience, compassion, and teamwork in their approach.

No prior experience is necessary, as we offer comprehensive training to ensure you are fully prepared to support each child effectively. This role requires physical stamina, as you will be actively engaged with children who may require lifting or carrying (up to 50 pounds) and moving in various positions (standing, walking, sitting, etc.).
