Qualifications

Genuine passion for assisting children with autism. Demonstrated patience, compassion, and teamwork skills. Minimum age of 18 years. High school diploma or GED required. Capability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and pass a Tuberculosis test within the last year. Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check. Physical ability to maneuver in various positions (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding. Bilingual in Spanish is essential.

As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your efforts will focus on teaching vital skills such as communication, social interactions, and daily living activities while effectively minimizing disruptive behaviors.

We seek individuals who are genuinely committed to helping children with autism thrive. Ideal candidates will possess patience, compassion, and an ability to collaborate within a team environment. Comprehensive training will be provided, ensuring you are well-prepared to support each child's unique needs, even if you lack prior experience. This role requires physical activity, as our clients are energetic and may necessitate lifting and carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds, along with various movements such as standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
