About the job
Join our passionate team at Centria Healthcare as a Behavior Technician and make a significant impact in the lives of children with autism. In this rewarding role, you will work directly with children, implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under the expert guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Utilizing evidence-based techniques, you will teach essential communication, social, and daily living skills while also addressing and reducing challenging behaviors. We seek individuals who are not only dedicated to helping children reach their full potential but are also patient, compassionate, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Even if you lack prior experience, we provide extensive training to equip you with the skills necessary to support each child effectively. This role requires physical stamina as children can be unpredictable and may require assistance. You should be comfortable engaging in a variety of physical activities, including standing, walking, sitting, grasping, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, and lifting or carrying items that weigh up to 50 pounds.
At the end of each day, you will feel fulfilled knowing you have made a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. Become part of a dedicated team that is committed to making a positive impact. Apply today to start your journey as a Behavior Technician!
