Qualifications

Genuine passion for supporting children with autism. Strong patience and compassion, with an ability to collaborate effectively in a team. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED is required. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as a recent Tuberculosis test. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to perform various movements (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

In this rewarding role, you will work directly with children, implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under the expert guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Utilizing evidence-based techniques, you will teach essential communication, social, and daily living skills while also addressing and reducing challenging behaviors. We seek individuals who are not only dedicated to helping children reach their full potential but are also patient, compassionate, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Even if you lack prior experience, we provide extensive training to equip you with the skills necessary to support each child effectively. This role requires physical stamina as children can be unpredictable and may require assistance. You should be comfortable engaging in a variety of physical activities, including standing, walking, sitting, grasping, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, and lifting or carrying items that weigh up to 50 pounds.
