Qualifications

Genuine passion for supporting children with autism. Demonstrated patience, compassion, and teamwork skills. Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma or GED required. Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and pass a Tuberculosis test if not completed within the last year. Must pass a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to perform various movements (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Candidates must secure a Registered Behavior Technician Certification post-onboarding.

In this rewarding role, you will engage one-on-one with children, executing tailored behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will employ evidence-based practices to enhance communication, social skills, and daily living abilities while effectively managing challenging behaviors.

We seek candidates who are truly passionate about helping children achieve their fullest potential. Essential qualities include patience, compassion, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment. Comprehensive training will be provided, ensuring you feel prepared to make a difference, even if you don’t have prior experience. Given the nature of this work, physical agility is important; you should be comfortable with various movements, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
