Qualifications

Passion for supporting children with autism. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, demonstrating patience and compassion. Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma or GED required. Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and a Tuberculosis test (if needed). Must pass a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to assume various positions (sitting, bending, etc.). Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Registered Behavior Technician Certification to be obtained within 45 days of completing onboarding.

Join our dedicated team at Centria Autism as a Behavior Technician and play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of children with autism. This rewarding position allows you to work closely with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

As a Behavior Technician, you will apply evidence-based strategies to foster communication, social skills, and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors. Your compassion and patience will be essential as you help each child reach their fullest potential.
