Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.2–5 years of experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar role. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). Excellent skills in requirement structuring and clear communication of complex logic. Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, Compliance, Risk). Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple inputs and translate them into clearly defined deliverables.

Join Mellon Technologies as we seek a talented Banking Business Analyst for our client in the banking sector. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Product Owner to ensure user stories are clear, detailed, and ready for development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Product Owner to clarify and detail user stories for effective development.
  • Analyze high-level requirements and break them down into structured tasks, edge cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Gather functional details from internal teams (Risk, Compliance, Ops, Engineering) to finalize story definitions.
  • Maintain documentation, workflows, and supporting materials essential for delivery.
  • Assist in refinement sessions by providing detailed functional clarifications.
  • Identify dependencies, constraints, and risks early to avoid delivery obstacles.
  • Ensure teams have all necessary information to commence development without ambiguity.
  • Collaborate with QA and Engineering to confirm understanding of expected behaviors.
  • Support the Product Owner in establishing and refining acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in reviewing completed stories to ensure they meet functional expectations.
  • Assist in validating functionalities against business rules, banking processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with QA for test scenarios and provide clarifications on business logic.
  • Act as a bridge between departments to gather clarifications and business rules.
  • Ensure alignment between business units and the Scrum Team as new information arises.
  • Monitor operational impacts and keep relevant stakeholders informed.
  • Identify recurring gaps or obstacles and recommend improvements to refinement and delivery processes.
  • Maintain and update product documentation for new features, workflows, and rule changes.
  • Support the team in enhancing the predictability, clarity, and quality of deliverable increments.
