Introducing the Location Intelligence Team
The Location Intelligence Team plays a crucial role in managing and analyzing various location and spatial data, which enriches our services as we transition into a local super app. We handle complex, large-scale spatial data securely and efficiently, pursuing a sustainable and scalable platform. We are looking for someone to help tackle the diverse technical challenges that arise as we continuously develop services that grow and expand globally.

Serving complex spatial data quickly and efficiently
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Daangn's neighborhood certification and area management systems, ensuring stable platform services that other internal microservices rely on.
- Enhance connections among Daangn users and explore ways to create new connections.
- Establish policies and build shared frameworks to ensure Daangn operates reasonably as a location-based service.
- Create a large-scale data system for securely and efficiently storing and utilizing various location information.
Who We Want to Work With
- Individuals who enjoy defining problems in unstructured situations and learning from leading the resolution process.
- Developers who consider writing tests, code reviews, and documentation as core processes and actively practice them.
- Those who understand and can utilize relational database modeling, indexing, and transaction processing.
- Individuals who comprehend asynchronous programming and can derive solutions for concurrency and consistency issues.
- People with a fundamental understanding of REST API or RPC communication structures and practical experience.
- Team players who actively communicate to improve services based on logical reasoning and mutual respect.
Bonus Points for Candidates Who Have
- Experience developing with Golang.
- Experience with services based on microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of or experience with large-scale spatial information and user location data pipelines.
- Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems or related project experience.

- For full-time hires, there is a 3-month probation period.
