As a backend engineer, you will deepen our systems, engage in technical discussions, and elevate the standard of engineering excellence within the team.Your ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deploy backend features within our Django monolith, covering core document workflows (viewing, editing, embeds, exports) as well as innovative greenfield projects that broaden Scribe's capabilities.Enhance performance and reliability by fine-tuning database queries, endpoints, and caching layers for critical user workflows.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to create intuitive and dependable experiences at scale.Contribute to the architecture and design of our systems to improve overall efficiency and maintainability.
