What You Will Do
Azure Platform Support & Operations
- Support deployment and maintenance of Azure resources across customer environments.
- Assist with implementing Azure landing zones and subscription structures that follow established standards.
- Operate Azure services in line with governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Carry out routine operational tasks, including patching, updates, and lifecycle activities, with guidance from senior staff.
Networking & Connectivity
- Support Azure networking components, such as:
- Virtual Networks (VNets) and peering
- Network Security Groups (NSGs)
- Azure Firewall and Application Gateway
- Azure DNS and User Defined Routes (UDRs)
- Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting ExpressRoute and hybrid connectivity issues.
Who Will Succeed
- Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Clear, effective communicator who can work well with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Interest in cloud infrastructure and managed services, with a desire to expand Azure knowledge and take on more complex engineering responsibilities over time.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid role with an onsite requirement of three days per week in Cardiff. Reliable transport is essential for commuting and occasional travel to other sites.
