About the job
About Relativity Space
Relativity Space is building rockets for today’s and tomorrow’s missions. The Terran R vehicle is engineered to deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting a growing need for launch capacity. Success with Terran R will open new doors for science, exploration, and innovation far beyond Earth.
At Relativity, autonomy and ownership are part of daily work. Employees tackle complex challenges, help develop rockets and factories from the ground up, and see their impact quickly. Collaboration is central, teams across propulsion, manufacturing, software, avionics, and corporate functions work together and influence outcomes. Creativity and technical rigor go hand in hand here. As Terran R advances, team members help shape the product, process, and culture.
About the Avionics Team
The Avionics team manages the full lifecycle of Terran R’s electrical systems. This includes designing, building, testing, installing, and operating the hardware that connects and controls all major electrical systems on the vehicle and on the ground. The team works closely across avionics design, manufacturing, and testing, enabling rapid iteration and feedback. Engineers also partner with propulsion, GNC, fluids, and stage engineering groups to ensure seamless system integration and operation.
