Our Aircraft Maintenance Internship offers a unique opportunity for transitioning service members to acquire essential civilian work experience during their final 180 days of active-duty service. Please note that SkillBridge participants are not compensated by Western Aircraft, as they will continue to receive their military pay and benefits while on active duty.As an intern in our Aircraft Maintenance program, you will work up to 40 hours a week alongside seasoned maintenance technicians in our FAA-certified Repair Station. This hands-on experience will help you develop skills essential for inspecting, testing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing aircraft in accordance with FAA and manufacturer specifications. Interns will gain practical experience working on various aircraft, including Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon, King Air, Cessna, Piper, and Pilatus, preparing you for a successful career in corporate aviation.Please note that completion of this internship does not guarantee employment with Western Aircraft. However, upon successful completion, you will be evaluated, and there may be an opportunity for a full-time position within our team.

While participating in SkillBridge, individuals will continue to receive military compensation and benefits as they are still active-duty service members.During the Aircraft Structures Internship, participants will engage in a full-time commitment of up to 40 hours per week, receiving hands-on training from our skilled structures technicians in our FAA-certified Repair Station. Interns will develop skills in structural inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of aircraft according to FAA and manufacturer specifications. This program provides practical experience on various corporate aviation aircraft, including Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon, King Air, Cessna, Piper, and Pilatus, preparing interns for a future in the aviation industry.While this internship does not guarantee employment with Western Aircraft, successful interns will be evaluated upon completion and may be considered for full-time positions within our team.
