Role overview
The Avionics Engineering Technician (Levels I, II, or Senior) works on the design, integration, testing, and maintenance of electrical and avionics systems for the Talon-A hypersonic vehicle. This position is located in Mojave, CA.
Key responsibilities
- Create shop definitions, including technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
- Coordinate between engineering and shop floor teams to manage installation and modification of aircraft subsystems
- Assist with integrating and testing avionics and electrical systems
- Review and evaluate technical data related to aerospace systems
- Support maintenance and troubleshooting of vehicle avionics
Requirements
- Experience with aerospace development and systems integration
- Ability to interpret technical data, drawings, and wiring diagrams
- Background in electrical and avionics systems, preferably within aerospace
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration between engineering and shop teams
