Position Overview: Natilus is looking for a talented Avionics and Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in San Diego, CA. You will play a crucial role in designing and integrating avionics and electrical systems for our aircraft. This includes developing electrical architecture, designing power distribution systems, ensuring grounding network integrity, and facilitating system-level integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and integrate electrical and avionics systems at the aircraft level.
- Analyze and manage aircraft electrical loads and distribution networks.
- Create resilient and redundant power distribution systems.
- Conduct system-level trade studies and collaborate with suppliers to refine the aircraft's avionics systems.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and avionics systems.
- Design and incorporate grounding systems for composite airframes.
